Why I Became
A Coach
After 15 years in corporate America (sales & marketing
communications), I felt it was time to do something very different ... to have
a new adventure. With the support of a life coach, I discovered what was most
meaningful to me and as a result, experienced the power of coaching -- then found
my way to being a coach!
 | With
plenty of fears in hand, I plunged into my journey to become a Certified Professional
Co-Active Coach through the internationally esteemed Coaches
Training Institute (CTI) in San Rafael, California. In May 2004 I became certified
and in March 2005, I completed advanced training in Organization & Relationship
Systems. I've been coaching since April, 2003. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Management & Communications from Concordia
University. |
In
addition to my private coaching practice, I have facilitated wellness workshops
and worked as an Independent Contractor at Northern California's Integrative
Medical Clinic. I also facilitate speaking workshops based on Lee Glickstein's
Speaking Circles™.
Most recently I tapped back into my passion for marketing communications and teach
"ezine building" teleclasses and write marketing materials for consultants
and other independent professionals (brochures, web sites, e-zines). Articles
I've written have been published in Sonoma
County Women's Voices.
As
a Coach, I work only with highly motivated professionals who are commited to making
a shift in their personal or professional life. I help my clients create a thriving
business through purposeful sales and marketing strategies. I am passionate about
my clients making business decisions based on their personal values, while allowing
their natural and unique selves to shine through. I believe this is the key to
business success and sustainability.
On
the Personal Side
I feel a deep connection with nature: in the
Adirondacks of Upstate New York I've
hiked the High Peaks and paddled
many miles of river trails.
In the Pacific Northwest, I've explored the lush forest trails in and around Portland
Oregon with my Mook.
I especially fell in love with Forest
Park, the Columbia Gorge
and the Central Cascades
(McKenzie River).
