About Kimberlee
Kimberlee
has been a word and layout "junkie" for years. In the '80s she created
books on then-popular word processors. She “fell into” marketing
communications in the '90s and worked in high tech sales & marketing
for over 14 years.
After leaving the corporate world and becoming a Certified Professional Coach, Kimberlee designed, wrote and published electronic newsletters and articles for her own business as well as for colleagues. She has also taught "e-zine building" classes to coaches, consultants and other independent professionals.
To expand her skills, in January 2008, Kimberlee started taking desktop publishing classes at Santa Rosa Junior College. By December, she had designed and published her first book, Adirondack Wilderness Canoe Adventures. She is currently working on a book of her father’s experience as a World War II pilot.
In December 2009, Kimberlee received an Adobe InDesign Skills Certificate. She also works with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and tutors in InDesign.
On the Personal Side
Kimberlee is deeply connected with animals and nature, especially the Adirondack Park Preserve in Central New York where she has hiked and paddled many trails. In the Pacific Northwest, Kimberlee has hiked numerous forest trails during her 8 years living in Portland, Oregon. She especially loves (and greatly misses) Forest Park and the Central Cascades of Oregon.
Kimberlee grew up in the small college town of Clinton, in Central New York. She currently lives in Santa Rosa, California with her pooch, Karli Sue, and partner, Michael. Kimberlee lives a clutter-free lifestyle and is committed to leaving a light footprint on the earth.
Kimberlee holds a B.S. in Business Management & Communications from Concordia University in Portland and is a graduate of The Coaches Institute (CTI), where she was certified as a Professional Co-Active Coach and received advanced training in Organizational & Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC).
